Halloween Countdown

I saw this idea on another blog and thought it would be something fun that Easton and I could make together and that he would enjoy counting down to Halloween.

Chuck E Cheese and The Zoo

This past our friends came to visit us. On Friday night we went to Chuck E Cheese. It was my first time in all my 28 years. I was actually pretty excited. The Chuck E Cheese just opened a few weeks ago so it was extremely crowded, plus it was Friday. We had a good time. Gretchen thought she was hot stuff getting to ride all by herself.

Easton loved playing the games. This is the only picture I got of him because he was with his dad and I was letting Gretchen ride the few rides they had.

Saturday morning we went to the zoo. I love the zoo and am always up for going. I didn't take that many pictures. I don't know why.

This is the only picture I have of Easton, Tyler and Jayden. Tyler and Easton are 2 months apart. They have a good time when they get together. Jayden is 6 months older then Gretchen.

This is Gretchen on the train! I hadn't been on the train for awhile. The kids loved it but it sure went fast.

Easton's Room

Here is Easton's Room. I (by I I mean Andrea hung them, I tend to hang things crooked so either her or Chad has to do the nailing and hanging) just barely hung all the decorations on the wall. I got a new bedspread on clearance at Target.

The E on the wall in this picture is from a fire station. Chad got that and Easton thought it was pretty cool. Thank You Andrea for coming and helping me! You are the best!

Wrestlemania

Almost every night chad wrestles with the kids. They love it!! Chad is a great dad!! I love him very much and love to see him play with the kids. We Love You!!!
These aren't the best pictures, but sometimes you get what you get and don't throw a fit. I learned that little line from Kendall.

What Do You Think?

A few of my siblings think that Gretchen looks like me as a child. My brother Brandon looks at her and it reminds him of me playing in the dishwasher as a baby. Here are a few comparison pictures. They aren't the best but you tell me if you can see a resemblance.

I don't let Gretchen get in the dishwasher because it totally annoys me. This is what she does. She either gets in the cupboards or gets all the bowls and pans out.

Chalking It Up!

Yesterday we went to Andrea's to hang out with Kendall while Andrea went to get her haircut. The kids were bummed they couldn't go in the sand pile so they decided to play with the sidewalk chalk. They had a good time and got pretty chalky.


P.S. Andreas hair looks really good!

Playing in the Leaves

Tonight we went outside to play. Easton started making a pile of leaves. Gretchen thought it was funny to go and steal leaves from Easton's pile. Of course Easton didn't think it was funny. Anyway I helped Easton make a pretty good sized pile. This is his first time playing in leaves. Yes I know I am a delinquent mother. Next time we are going to get a rake and do a huge pile. Family Room

Here are some pictures of our family room. Eventually I would maybe like to paint but for now this is what it looks like. It isn't big but it works.

The door you see goes to our backyard. I am going to post backyard pictures later this week.

Those doors you see here lead to a really big crawl space.

Chocolate Cake

Easton got home from his grandparents today. We all missed him a lot and were very glad to see him. It is amazing how quite our house is when he is not here. When he goes to visit we usually get some sort of treat that he helps his grandma make. Today they brought little chocolate cakes. Easton helped to decorate them. That was our treat from FHE tonight. Gretchen really enjoyed her chocolate cake.

Noelle's Birthday and Discovery Center

Yesterday was Noelle's 8th Birthday!!! For her birthday she was going to Build-A-Bear but, Andrea had to go to a few meetings for the Nutcracker and asked me if I would take her girls and go to the Discovery Center. It was a lot of fun, I really enjoy that place. Gretchen really enjoyed herself. My camera battery was going dead so the pictures aren't the greatest. Thanks Noelle and Kendall for letting Gretchen and I have a fun day with you.

A Vacation

Easton left yesterday to go spend the weekend with his grandparents. He was so excited. He asked every morning if it was time to go to Grandmas. Yesterday as soon as his Grandma arrived to pick him up he hardly let her in the door. I am glad that he gets to spend time with his grandparents. Our house sure is quiet without him. I miss him and I think Gretchen might be missing him by the end of the day. Before he left I got this picture of him.

New Curlers

Yesterday I got some Velcro curlers in the dollar section at Target. Gretchen's hair is pretty straight so we thought we would try these out.

She wasn't very cooperative when I took the picture. I tried to take an after picture but they didn't look to good. The curlers definitely gave her some volume.

Kitchen and Gretchens Room

A few people wanted me to post pictures of my house. I don't have all the rooms decorated yet. This is what you get for now.

The Kitchen/Eating Area

It isn't that big but it is bigger then anything I have ever had before and it has a lot of cupboard space.

Gretchen's Room

This is one of my favorite toys from when I was little. Both Gretchen and Easton like to play with the cupboard and dishes. Easton thought it was funny that Gretchen got in her train so he told me to take a picture of her, so of course I did.

Gretchen's room isn't completely how I want it but it will definitely do for now.
