Easton's new room

We decided to switch Easton and the Girls rooms.  Easton was in the basement with a bigger room, and we figured it would be easier if the girls had the bigger room.  Easton wasn't a huge fan at first.  Now that his room is almost all the way done he is happy. This is pretty much what the room looked like before.

 I painted the walls gray, and then Chad painted the headboard blue. 

We hung this shelf  with hooks to hang his hats.  I am on a search for a desk that will go under the shelf.  It isn't decorated exactly how I would like it, but Easton loves that the Basketball signed by Jimmer is in his room. We need to get a few more things.  He wants something of his to favorite teams.  Boise State and BYU.

Decorations

I have wanted to decorate my living room walls for a long time I am just not the best at doing it.  For my birthday my sister gave me decorations for the wall.  I can't hang stuff so she came this last week and helped me.  I love it! The picture isn't the best because of my huge window but you get the idea. 

Shower/Tub

I don't know why I didn't think to take a before picture. We used to have a nasty shower door on our tub/shower. I hated it from the day we moved in. Chad took it out on Monday and it looks so much better now. I love it!

Easton's Room

Here is Easton's Room. I (by I I mean Andrea hung them, I tend to hang things crooked so either her or Chad has to do the nailing and hanging) just barely hung all the decorations on the wall. I got a new bedspread on clearance at Target.

The E on the wall in this picture is from a fire station. Chad got that and Easton thought it was pretty cool. Thank You Andrea for coming and helping me! You are the best!

Family Room

Here are some pictures of our family room. Eventually I would maybe like to paint but for now this is what it looks like. It isn't big but it works.

The door you see goes to our backyard. I am going to post backyard pictures later this week.

Those doors you see here lead to a really big crawl space.

Kitchen and Gretchens Room

A few people wanted me to post pictures of my house. I don't have all the rooms decorated yet. This is what you get for now.

The Kitchen/Eating Area

It isn't that big but it is bigger then anything I have ever had before and it has a lot of cupboard space.

Gretchen's Room

This is one of my favorite toys from when I was little. Both Gretchen and Easton like to play with the cupboard and dishes. Easton thought it was funny that Gretchen got in her train so he told me to take a picture of her, so of course I did.

Gretchen's room isn't completely how I want it but it will definitely do for now.

Back on the Hunt

So I decided I should probably update my blog and let my few readers know that the house we were going to purchase has had some issues and we are back on the house hunt. After having the house inspected we found it needed a new roof, by a new roof I mean new boards, shingles, everything so after a lot of talking to other people and praying we decided it wasn't worth it. We actually drive by the house to go to Andrea's house and this morning Easton said "mom that houses roof is going to cave in so we have to find a new one."

Packing

We have a lot of empty boxes at our house right now. We are buying a house and should close on June 9th. Easton and Gretchen think they are fun to play in. Here are a few pictures.
