Preschool

Today was Easton's first day of pre-school. He was pretty excited and was a little bummed that he had to wait until after lunch.
Gretchen wanted to sit by him. Neither of them would smile and apparently the sun was in there eyes.
I couldn't get him to smile normal, this picture he was saying preschool.
He must have been pretty excited because he got to the line first. There were a lot of kids that were crying and hanging on to there moms. I couldn't even get Easton to wave to me.
I am way excited for him to get to start something knew. He is excited to learn and I can only hope that continues with him.

Soccer

Easton started soccer a week ago, he was so excited to finally get to play a sport. Chad and I are not that into soccer but since this is the first team thing he could do we didn't really care. He gets so excited and asks me every morning if he gets to go to soccer that day. I think he looks so dang cute in his cleats.
He starts pre school next week and he is so excited! I think he is going to love school and am totally excited for him to start all these fun new things.

Too young for makeup

Gretchen has turned into this horribly naughty little girl today. Okay so it really hasn't been horrible but pretty annoying. She has spent a lot of time in time out today or in her room. This morning after getting out of time out I put her in her room and shut the door. Her door sticks and is hard to open so I thought it would be fine. Then I went downstairs to help Easton for a few minutes. This is what I found after helping Easton.
Doesn't she look like a Precious Moment statue?

I know it isn't way bad but she did get it on her shirt and totally destroyed my mascara. I guess at least she didn't hurt her self.

County Fair!

Today we decided to go to the County Fair. We went to the petting zoo. Gretchen would just wave at the animals. It was cute. She did pet a few.
Easton was way braver then I thought. He used to be a lot like his mom and was a big chicken around animals. I guess he grew out of that.
They had a bunch of these cut out things to have your picture in.

Easton loved that he was riding a bull!

and a motorcycle.

Last Movie of the Summer

Today was the last movie of our summer movies. It is crazy for me to think that in 3 weeks Easton will be going to preschool. This summer has gone pretty quickly. Here are a few pictures from today.

7th Anniversary!

Today is our 7th anniversary. We were both talking yesterday that it almost seems weird that we have known each other for almost 9 years. Since our anniversary was on Sunday we decided to get a babysitter and go out Saturday night. Thank You Marshal for watching the kids. We haven't just gone to dinner and a movie for a long time. Chad had never been to Rodizio Grill and a few people have told him he would really like it. So we decided to go there. He did enjoy it. Then we went to a movie. We went to Transformers 2.

It was a nice get a way from everyday life and we decided we need to try go out just the two of us more often. I am so glad that we are married and I love Chad so much and am so glad to have him. I Love You!!

Flag Football

Posted by Picasa

Chad started another season of flag football last night. As we were walking to the field he said to me, "I think I may be getting to old for this." It made me laugh because even if he gets to old he loves it and will keep playing. I love watching. Last night it got super windy and then started to rain so the first half of the game I sat in the baseball dug out to watch the game. The second half it had stopped raining and we sat on a blanket and watched. Well I watched and we also took a lot of pictures. Gretchen didn't like me taking her picture she would start crying when i would point the camera at her. Easton and I thought it was kind of funny to see her sad face so I kept taking the pictures. I am such an awesome mom!

They won the game by like 16. Way to go Chad! We Love You!!

Oquirrh Mountain Temple

Yesterday we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. It was a very beautiful temple. They all are really but I was excited to take my kids inside. Chad was out of town so Charly came with me to help. Thanks again Charly!! After we were done I wanted to go home and see if I could come again today by myself so that I could enjoy the beauty without dealing with a crying little girl and an ornery little boy.
As the day went on and Easton talked about going in the temple I realized that I am way to uptight and that I need to relax. They weren't the only noisy kids and I now know that Easton enjoyed most of it. He even thanked Heavenly Father for letting us go in the temple in our family prayer last night.
