Soccer 2010

Yesterday was Easton's first soccer game. In the fall he was the kid that played in the grass or was chasing his shadow. This year he is on a team with a couple of his friends so we were hoping he might actually kick the ball.

Here he is before, he was very excited.

Here he is as the Goalie. He did great blocked two balls.

Stopping the ball!

It was freezing cold because of the wind. Gretchen was wrapped up and cheering her brother on.
After the game Easton's coach told him that he did so good. He kicked the ball more in this game then he did the whole last season. Easton was so excited that his coach noticed he did good.
We went and got ice cream afterwards to celebrate how well he did.

Random Stuff

Easton and Gretchen will do there chores better if they know that when they are done they get to play with play doh.
They both mix the colors which annoys me for some reason so I leave the room and they know they have to vacuum after they are done.
Speaking of Vacuums I want a Dyson. After changing the stupid bag in mine this morning I remembered how much I want a Dyson.
If anyone ever sees a really good deal on a Dyson let me know.
I also want one of these.
I have a lot of tile at my house and I think this might motivate me to mop more often.

The past few nights I have been dreaming about my mom. Sometimes It scares me that I am forgetting what she sounded like and looked like. She doesn't talk in my dreams she is just there. I love and Miss her!
Those are the random thoughts and things going on here.

Kindergarten Shots

Easton has been a little nervous about his kindergarten shots since last summer. Today was the big day.
This is him looking mad before we go into the doctor.
He actually wasn't to upset like I thought he would be, we made a deal that if he did good we would go to McDonald's. He got four shots 2 in each arm. He did really good didn't even tear up or say ouch. I was really impressed because I would have cried like a baby.

He is all ready for Kindergarten now!

Grocery Store

Yesterday Easton had his last field trip. We went to the grocery store. I some how only got pictures of Gretchen.
This is the magic pencil they got from the bank. It changes colors and I am pretty sure that was Easton's favorite part. Gretchen wanted me to take a picture of her pencil and of course I did.
The Butcher gave them all stickers that said corn fed pork. That was also a big hit with the kids.
They got to go in the fridge and the freezer. Which Easton thought was cool to be behind the milk. Gretchen came out of the freezer crying because it was cold. This last picture is of all 3 classes at Easton's preschool. He is sort of hidden he is on the third row from the bottom.
