Swimming

On saturday we took the kids swimming since it was suppose to be in the 100s.  I only took a few pictures then I put the camera away and got in the water.

Cherry Hill

Aunt Andrea invited us to go to Cherry Hill with her yesterday.  They all had a wonderful time.

Pirates Cove was the best place for kinslee since she didn't want anyone to touch her and just wanted to swim on her own.

Gretchen has some weird obsession of stepping in buckets when she is in her swim suit. 

She sure is a dang cute little girl then and now!

Kinslees First trip to the Pool

Last Friday we went swimming.  It was Kinslee's first time.  She enjoyed it for a little while. 

 Easton and Gretchen loved it and didn't want to leave. 

 I tried to take a picture of Gretchen coming down that slide but she never came and I went and put my camera away without taking her picture. 

Kinslee and I spent most of the time on our towels.  She napped and I got sunburned.  I made sure everyone else put sunscreen on, but didn't apply it to myself. 

Homecoming

This weekend we went to St. George for my Dad and Karen's homecoming.  Sadly I have no pictures of them.  I know awesome huh! 

We went to the St. George Temple Visitor Center.  This is Gretchen waiting.

After we went swimming because it was way to hot to be outside. 

Easton loved this slide he came down with a smile every time even when I didn't have the camera.

Chad was teaching Gretchen how to swim and she would put her head face down.  Gretchen is fearless in the water.  There was a big slide that she begged her dad to take her on a lot. 

We had a good weekend! It was good to see my dad and it will be nice to have him back closer to home.  Gretchen sort of forgot who he was since she was only 1 when he left. 

Newport Beach

On our last day in California we went to the beach before we headed out. 

The kids loved it and Gretchen still asks if we can go to the beach again.

Cherry Hill

We went to Cherry Hill yesterday with Andrea and her kids. Easton has been before but Gretchen hadn't.

This was Gretchen's first time down the slide. She wasn't so sure at first the water was pretty cold. She did warm up though and really enjoyed going down the slide.

I think spending a day at a water park is such a good idea Easton didn't wake up until 8am. That is amazing. He could go to bed at midnight and still wake up at 6ish. So I was super happy that I got to sleep in a little bit.

Taking a Dip

The other day we were at my sisters house. The kids were filling up there pool. Marshal came inside and told me Gretchen had gotten in the pool. Sure enough she was swimming with her clothes on. I have now packed my diaper bag with a swim diaper just in case she wants to go swimming suddenly.

Swimming

So Chad took the kids swimming on friday. Easton loves swimming and so he wouldn't come close enough for me to get a good picture. So here are a few of Gretchen. She takes a few minutes to warm up to the water.

Swimming with Cousins

The past few days while Andrea & Chuck have been at Youth Conference, Charly, Noelle & Kendall have been staying with us. Easton has really enjoyed having people here to play with. We went swimming twice yesterday. They had a good time. Kendall started warming up to the water right about the time we left. She even would jump from the side to uncle Chad. Here are a few pictures.

This was Kendalls favorite place to sit. She felt safest here I think.

Uncle Chad did get Kendall to try swim and she thought it was pretty fun.
