The Big Fall

On Sunday we were at a family BBQ and Gretchen fell off a patio swing. She landed right on her mouth. She was bleeding a lot. I learned(i may have already known) that I am not good in those kind of situations. So Chad and I took her to the doctor and she had pushed her two front teeth up and back and one may die. Yeah exciting stuff huh!! Oh well at least they are baby teeth. The doctor told us that she could have Popsicles that would be good for it so of course I bought us a box of otter pops yesterday.

I tried to get a picture of her teeth but really you can't see much. Right above her two front teeth is blackish blue and then she also bruised her bottom lip, and scrapped her little chin.

Sunday when we got back to Andrea's we tried to give her a Popsicle but she wouldn't take one. Today however she loved it and after every lick she would say mmm good.

Today is Chad's 30th Birthday!!! I couldn't ask for a better friend, husband or dad for our kids. I Love You!!!! I hope you have a very happy birthday!!!

Flowers and Medicine

Today while Easton and Gretchen were playing outside Easton picked a bunch of dandelion's and put them in this cup for Gretchen. What a nice big brother. We have a ton of dandelions, I want to get rid of them I hate them.

So Gretchen has to take some antibiotics and she is like the kids in the commercial. She totally runs and hides. Tonight when I pulled it out this is what she did.

Happy Birthday Rhett!!!

Today is my brother Rhett's birthday!! Rhett helped me with my taxes this year and that was totally awesome. Thanks again for that. Also this morning I remembered when he was at Ricks College he made me this huge birthday card and mailed it to me. I thought it was the coolest card. So when i was looking threw my pictures, I picked this one because I think it is awesome how my brothers had cool matching shirts for the first day of school and also because Rhett is looking at me in the picture. I hope you have a good birthday and I Love You!!

The Park

Today Kendall and Noelle came over to play. I think I may need them to come play once a week. I was able to get a lot of cleaning done while they were playing in the backyard. I promised them we would go to the park after I finished up cleaning. So here is our trip to the park.

So I have wanted to put video on my blog forever but didn't know how to do it. I took this video of Gretchen going down the slide. It is not the best video but she would keep going down this slide and she gets serious air every time and lands on her bum every time.

Easter

On Sunday morning Easton came up stairs and asked if he could look to see if the Easter bunny had come. I didn't think he would remember and if he did I didn't think he would ask.

The Easter bunny hid Gretchen's basket on her high chair.

and Easton's was hid in the pantry on top of the bread maker.

Easton got a suit this year for Easter and I think he looks so cute.

On Saturday I had to take Gretchen to the Doctor, she had a soar throat and wasn't feeling to hot. Sunday morning she seemed way better. You would never know from this picture though.

This picture is more of the regular Gretchen she is just getting back to normal this morning. I am very happy about that. After church I wanted to try take some pictures of us all because I thought we all looked pretty good. I didn't get a new dress but I am wearing a dress I bought 3 years ago and never wore because i had to fix it and never did and now I fit into it again. So after church we went to a park and we were just going to use our tripod and a lady came and took a couple. Of course Gretchen wouldn't look but oh well I guess.

Then we tried to get some of the two kids and Gretchen was to distracted by the waterfall.

Coloring Eggs!!

As a kid I loved to dye Easter eggs. As an adult I still really enjoy it. Last year Easton thought it was cool but just dropped all the eggs in and we were done in like 5 minutes. This year Easton was a lot slower and enjoyed it more. Gretchen learned that the higher your hand is the bigger the splash. She was done in no time flat. I got to do like 5 eggs. I was sort of sad. Oh well it was still fun. Maybe I should buy some dye and do some of my own eggs when they are both sleeping.

Easter Egg Hunt

This year Andrea had her Easter Egg hunt but it was way low key. In fact it ended up only being Melissa and her girls, Andrea and her kids and then Gretchen and Easton. It was just candy thrown on the grass no Easter eggs. It was still fun.

Easton's Hair

I decided Easton needed his haircut. We tried growing it longer but it just didn't look that great. Here are some before and after pictures. Neither of them are the best. He looks way better with it cut at least I think so.

Happy Birthday Ike!!!

Today is my oldest brother Ike's Birthday!!! Ike is quite a few years older then me so I didn't really have a relationship with him until I was older. I got to live with him and his boys for a few months after my first year of college. I have always looked up to him. Easton loves his Uncle Ike. We Love You!!! Hope you have an awesome day!!

I am not sure why neither of us are smiling in the baptism picture but that is the only one I have.

Vacation

This past week we went to visit friends and family in Idaho. Easton said we were on a vacation. We were there from Wednesday night until Sunday. He loves it there and asked his grandma if he could live with her. I always want to get pictures of the kids with the grandparents and I always forget.

This is Easton and Tyler. They really have a good time when they get together. Tyler is the son of our really good friends. They also have a sun 6 months older then Gretchen but i didn't get any pictures of them.

Easton and I made a deal that he would listen to or try to listen to one talk each session of conference. He did pretty good. When the prophet started talking he looked right up at him. I had to take a picture.
I didn't know where Gretchen had gone at one point and I looked in the kitchen and she was helping Grandma make a cake. It isn't the best picture but it was cute she was stirring.
