The Park

Yesterday afternoon we went to feed the ducks. I had grand plans of taking lots of pictures. I didn't realize that we needed new batteries in the camera though. So I got this one of Easton actually feeding the ducks.

When we got home our upstairs neighbors had there music up way way to loud so Chad and Easton went to play basketball here at our complex. After Gretchen looked up at the ceiling wondering where the loud noise was coming from I decided maybe we should go play too. I put new batteries in the camera and we were off.

This was Easton's favorite thing at our little park here, partly because it is green and green is his favorite color.

We found out that Gretchen loves it all. She laughs going down the slide, playing on the frog, but she really enjoyed the swing. She would laugh and clap when you would swing her high. Of course every picture I took she wasn't looking.

This picture is just to show off Gretchen's huge top teeth and her pretty blue eyes.

Happy Birthday!!!

Today is Chad's 29th Birthday!! I have to tell you I have a way way hard time shopping for him. Most of the things he wants are either super expensive or it is hunting stuff. So Easton and I decided to get him a new swimming suit(lame I know) and then Guitar Hero III. Easton was pretty excited, he likes to watch his dad play video games. Chad took the day off so we just hung out at home. I don't know if it was all that enjoyable but he didn't have to go to work so that is always a plus.

I just wanted to tell Chad how much I love him and how happy he makes me. He is an awesome dad and our kids love to jump and play with there Jungle Dad. I hope you had a Happy Birthday!!!
This is one of my favorite pictures of Chad and Easton!

I love this picture!

PS I did want to mention that Chads football team is undefeated and locked up first place last night. He has one more regular season game and then the playoffs.

Happy Earth Day!!!

Today I decided to celebrate Earth Day!!! I went online found a craft. So we made Rain Makers out of toilet paper rolls. I am not 100 percent sure what it has to do with Earth Day, but Kendall and Easton thought they were fun. I know we recycled the toilet paper roll so I guess that is what it has to do with Earth Day!!! Anyway, you can't see Easton's because he just doesn't cooperate for pictures sometimes.

I have learned over the past week or so that Gretchen hates the grass. She liked to touch these flowers though. Side note Gretchen got another tooth so she now has five teeth. She is getting so big.

Easton was so proud of his flower that was planted in the bottom half of a water bottle. Andrea taught them about the dump and how all the water bottles are filling them up and how it is good to recycle. So we recycled this water bottle for his flower. (that is what he told me this afternoon) Thank you Aunt Andrea for purchasing the flowers!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Earth Day!!! If you weren't able to plant a flower or something it is Arbor day on Friday so go and plant a tree!

Pajamas

So a few years ago my mom made all of my nephews pajama pants. They were a hit with all the kids. My mom had made one extra pair that wasn't the right size so she gave it to me for Easton. The other day I was cleaning out some clothes in his closet and thought I should check to see if these are his size yet. They are a little big but Easton is in need of some pajamas so we got them out. He loves them. I am sure I think it is cooler then he does. I have been missing my mom lately wishing she were here to ask her a few questions. Finding these pajamas made me feel really good. I love my mom and am so glad I got her for as long as I did.

The Park

Not to sure about this!
Hey this is kind of fun!
Yesterday we went to the park. Easton thought it was Awesome, Gretchen had mixed feelings. She didn't really enjoy the grassor the slight breeze. I am sure she will learn how fun it all is soon enough!

Easton thought it was pretty cool when his dad let him play Rock Band. He wasn't really playing but he thought he was and he was trying pretty hard.

New Pictures

Yesterday I went and got my kids pictures taken. I thought it was going to be Easton that would give us a hard time. Boy was I wrong Gretchen probably only smiled like 4 times. It was ridiculous but we did manage to get a few good shots. Here are a few.

42 to 20

Chad played in his 4th flag football game yesterday. He was out of town and thought he would miss the game but lucky for him the job wasn't ready yet. He got home yesterday afternoon. I didn't see a lot of the game. I need to get a babysitter for Gretchen if I want to watch next time. Anyway, Chad scored 1 touchdown and Easton actually took a picture at that moment. You can barely see Chad about to catch the football. (he is right behind that middle pole) They won 42-20. Way to Go!!!
