Our lives lately

Kinslee is growing like crazy.  She can roll over from her back to her tummy.  She will roll over then act all bugged that she is on her tummy. It is pretty funny.  She feeds her self, okay not really but she tries and can hold the bottle for a few minutes before she drops it.

Gretchen is usually helping with Kinslee unless I really need her too.  She is also loving dance and every morning when she wakes up asks when her recital is.  I only have 17 more days of her asking.
Easton is enjoying school and soccer.  He has scored two goals and has high expectations for his last three games.  He gets to start T-ball in a couple of weeks and is pretty excited.
I am just being a mom.  Last night for relief society I sewed this cute table runner.  I am so proud of myself I had to show it off.
Chad has been busy working.  He works his regular job during the week then the weekends he has been working with his friend James.
I didn't have any current pictures of chad, but he still looks just as handsome as he did on the day we got married. (I know super cheesy but so true.)

Spring Soccer 2011

Eastons spring soccer season started yesterday.  He loves going to soccer and playing with his friends he couldn't wait for the first game.
 His cheering section.
Kinslee did so good.  It was windy so I put her on my lap with lots of blankets and she just sat the whole time.

 Easton stopping the ball.
 running in the pack.
This was a penalty kick or something.

He did really good he told his Grandpa that he was going to score 42 goals.  He only has 9 more games so he needs about 4 a game.

Just a bunch of Stuff

This post is going to be about  a few things that have happened in the past few weeks.  First off I found this picture on my camera of Easton watching President Monson speak during General Conference.  Conference was good as usual.  Of course I missed a few talks do to kids, and my wonderful ability to fall asleep when I should be listening.  I am very glad that I will be able to read the talks in the Ensign.
Last week Easton had his last soccer game of the fall season.  He did so good in soccer this year.  He loved it.  He was sad that the season is over.   He had a pizza party yesterday at his coaches house and got an awesome trophy.  I should have taken a picture but I didn't so just imagine an awesome trophy.     Easton is the one in the black sweatshirt.
This is a picture of Gretchen at Easton's game.  Not the prettiest picture but she wanted me to take it so I did and I am posting it as well.

Last night I was able to go to a Relief Society Craft night and make this cute pumpkin.  I think I might make another one if I can get chad to cut the wood for me.  It was way easy and fun!  I love going to our monthly Relief Society meetings and getting a chance to hang out with the fun ladies in my ward.  I love my ward!

Team Soccer Picture

I don't really think this picture needs any words.  It is just plain cute!
Easton has played two games and he scored a goal.  He was so excited it was fun to watch.

Soccer and Practice

Easton had his first soccer game yesterday.  He has improved so much from last year when he started.  He was so excited and he kicked the ball like crazy.
He was the goalie for the last part of the game and the ball only came to him once so this is the best I could get picture wise.
Easton lately is way excited about football, he has been bugging his dad to help him practice for football.  I don't think he can play for two more years but hey starting early never hurts.  Chad was showing Easton that you need to stretch and I thought he looked so cute stretching.
I think this is my favorite picture.

Soccer 2010

Yesterday was Easton's first soccer game. In the fall he was the kid that played in the grass or was chasing his shadow. This year he is on a team with a couple of his friends so we were hoping he might actually kick the ball.

Here he is before, he was very excited.

Here he is as the Goalie. He did great blocked two balls.

Stopping the ball!

It was freezing cold because of the wind. Gretchen was wrapped up and cheering her brother on.
After the game Easton's coach told him that he did so good. He kicked the ball more in this game then he did the whole last season. Easton was so excited that his coach noticed he did good.
We went and got ice cream afterwards to celebrate how well he did.

What we have been up to

I have been in a little bit of a blogging slump. Life has just been moving along with nothing to out of the ordinary which is nice. I have forgotten my camera at times I have wanted my camera so here are the few pictures that have been taken since my last post.

Chad decided to put Gretchen to work. It was cute she walked around with the towel on her shoulder for half of the day.

Gretchen has officially entered the I'll do it myself stage, which i don't know if that is good or bad.

So I did Gretchen's hair in a side ponytail the other day. I thought it was cute she wouldn't look at the camera so i got this back view. I really do her hair but usually know one sees it done.
Easton got to be the goalie last night at soccer. I have to say soccer is not my favorite sport, and I don't know that it is Easton's either. He did pretty good at goalie. The funny thing is this picture was taken when the ball was at the other end of the field. He was just making sure he was ready I guess.

The Big Game

Yesterday was Easton's first Soccer game. His team won, even though they don't keep score. He Fell down once and got kicked in the head and wasn't so sure he wanted to keep playing but he finished the game and he really likes it.

Soccer

Easton started soccer a week ago, he was so excited to finally get to play a sport. Chad and I are not that into soccer but since this is the first team thing he could do we didn't really care. He gets so excited and asks me every morning if he gets to go to soccer that day. I think he looks so dang cute in his cleats.
He starts pre school next week and he is so excited! I think he is going to love school and am totally excited for him to start all these fun new things.
