What a Good Big Brother!

Easton was looking at this coloring book and talking.

Gretchen thought he was talking to her and she would crawl up to the couch and smile and just listen to him. She sure thinks Easton is the coolest thing. I thought it was super cute.

PS Gretchen has a new tooth. Top Left and I expect the top right any day.

Trying to be a little better

Easton was gone a couple of weeks ago and I decided that when he got home I was going to try harder to be more patient with him and try to do more fun things. Well I don't think I did so good last week. Apparently someone else wants me to try to do better because yesterday morning I read an article in the Ensign titled "The Joy of Nurturing Children", which is three different moms talking about motherhood. In church our combined 5th Sunday lesson was on parenting. I actually learned some stuff that I hope to do to help me be more patient with Easton. He tries my patience a lot. My favorite song right now is by Trace Adkins, Your Going to Miss This. If you haven't heard it you should listen to it, it is really good.

I love Easton to death but sometimes he really can grind on my nerves. I know i need to just relax sometimes(that is what a few siblings have told me) so I hope to relax and just have a good time while trying to teach him and watch him grow, because I know that in 10 years I am going to probably wish he was whining and not listening to his mom, rather than rolling his eyes and talking back to me.

Eastons New Hair Cut

This isn't the best picture but it shows his hair and him with huge muscles. I can't seem to get him to smile normal or keep his eyes open in a picture.

I just think he looks so much better. Once again not the best picture. What can you do! Sometimes you have to take what you can get.

Easton is visiting his grandparents this week and I am missing him. I just found this picture that I took last week. I hope everyone is having a good week!!

Here Comes Trouble

Gretchen is into everything she isn't supposed to be. She of course likes all things electronic, Paper and DVDs. Her favorite spot out our house is the DVDs. They are down low as you can see. Some days I am afraid Easton will have a heart attack because he is so worried about Gretchen getting all the DVDs out a billion times a day. He picks them up every time she gets them out. I had to take a picture because I think she looks so cute!

Indoor Flag Football

Chad started playing in an indoor flag football league tonight. He did really really good. He had 2 interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and another touchdown. His Team won 57 to 33. Easton thinks his Dad is pretty cool because he plays football. I planned to take pictures but my cameras batteries went dead. He plays for like 9 weeks so I am sure you will get some updates over the next little while.

Future Musician

Gretchen is getting really good at sitting up. Chad thought he should tester out at the drums. Isn't she super cute playing the drums. I am glad they aren't the real deal I can only imagine the noise they would produce.

Just a little side note, if you have not ever played Rock Band. You should it is way fun.

I am a Mom!

So I have been a mom for a little over 3 years now and tonight while making dinner it was weird I had this thought that Hey I am a mom. I know that some of my siblings think it is weird or they did at one point. I know this is sort of a lame post but it was a weird little thought. So in case non of you readers new it I am a Mom! Speaking of Moms I had to post this picture of me and my mom. I Love You Mom!!!
