Handsome

I thought Easton looked so handsome in his new summer clothes so I wanted to take a picture and between him not wanting to cooperate and Gretchen wanting to be in the picture they didn't turn out the greatest.

Happy Birthday Brandon!!

Today is my brother Brandon's 33rd Birthday!! Brandon is my sibling just older then me. We were very close growing up. We spent a lot of time together and we had some good times. He leaves in Indiana now and I don't see him very often. When I was looking through my pictures I had a lot with him and it was hard to choose. I was just going to do one from this scrapbook page but then decided that they were all pretty good. Brandon I just want you to know that I Love You and hope you have a very Happy Birthday!!!

The Home Haircut

Chad and Easton were going to go get haircuts, but chad decided to try cut Easton's and if it didn't work out he would just buzz it.(I am not a fan of the buzz on Easton) Well Chad did pretty good. It is pretty short but it looks way better then the weird fuzz head thing he had going. Easton told me he likes the Home haircut. I do also it saves some money.

Then after he got in the shower and cleaned off all the hair he found his Lightning McQueen Razor and shaved.

Memorial Day!

On Sunday we went to the cemetery to take flowers to my grandparents, mom and brother. At my mom's grave Easton asked me to read what it said. So this picture was taken while I was reading it.

When I was little I remember going to the cemetery every memorial day weekend and I actually looked forward to it because I got to hear stories about my relatives that had passed away.

I have a hard time sometimes because Easton doesn't remember my mom and Gretchen never got to meet her here on earth. I hope that Easton and Gretchen will be able to get to know my mom from the stories I tell them. I hope everyone has had a good memorial day weekend. I hope you were able to think about all the people in the military who have died for our freedoms. I am very grateful for that. I also hope you were able to remember all the loved ones who have passed on.

Big Bed!

Yesterday we took down Gretchen's crib and put her in a big bed. She does great with the nap in the bed, but I was worried about the night in bed. She only got out once when she first went to bed but then she thought she was up for good at 10pm. She ended up playing in her room in the dark for who knows how long. Tonight she went down pretty good so we will see.

I can't find my bin of bedding and it is a little annoying. So she just has a big blanket for now.

A trip to the Ball Park

Here is how the night went.

So we sent Charly, Kendall, Easton and Gretchen here.

Charly wasn't very happy with us. She brought Gretchen back when she needed her diaper changed. The only problem was I had already changed her 2 times so instead of Gretchen grossing everyone around us out. Me and the kids moved from the bleachers to the grass.

Here is how Easton tried to watch the game.

I must have been bad luck because Marshal's team was down 8 to 1 until I moved to the grass then they rallied back and ended up winning 9 to 8.

Happy Birthday Kyle!!

Today is my brother Kyle's Birthday!!! I am not sure how old he is, I just know he is more then 10 years older then me.
I don't have to many pictures of him, so my goal the rest of the year is to get some pictures of my brother Kyle. So I did think this picture was cool even though his head is cut off. It shows how much I looked up to him.

Kyle I hope you have an awesome birthday!!! Easton and Gretchen both think you are pretty cool. We Love You!!!

Nodding Off

So I found this video of Easton when he was like a year or so and I had to post it. I was at mutual and Chad was in charge. The original video goes for like 5 minutes. He was one tired little guy!

The 2nd times the Charm!!!

After last week and the pictures I was scared for what today would hold. Things went much better. Gretchen smiled way more. So here are a few of my favorite! Gretchen posed her self in both of these.

Family Bike Ride!

This afternoon chad fixed our bikes and we took a little family bike ride. Here is a picture of the kids before we left. If only I could ride in one of these instead of riding the actual bike.

Then while we were out Easton took Chad and I's pictures. The picture of Chad didn't turn out so good. It was just his backside.

My bum is sore from the stupid seat. Oh well it was still a fun time.

Attempt #1

Today I took my kids to my friend Marietta's house for pictures. We had a few technical difficulties up front and then things seemed to be going good. Well this is the best of Gretchen today.

Notice how she isn't really smiling in any of them, yes I have an appointment to try again next week.
