Boo At The Zoo

Today Andrea invited us to go to the Boo at the Zoo with her and Noelle and Kendall. Boo at the Zoo is when the kids dress up in there Halloween costumes and trick or treat at the zoo. Easton was excited to go to the zoo but when he realized he got candy he was even more excited. Gretchen didn't even know she was at the zoo, she slept most of the time or just laid in the stroller. Easton at one point told me that his bucket was too heavy when I told him that meant we were done and no more candy suddenly he stopped whining. He had a good time and was very happy to be invited. He was glad he got to see the elephants and he really enjoyed the Turkeys too. Thanks Aunt Andrea for inviting us to go with you it was a lot of fun.

ABC's

Easton was in his room playing when I hear him saying his ABC's. He was doing pretty well for a 2 year old (I have to admit I don't work on ABC's to often, I will try harder) anyway he says L, Men, P. I thought that was pretty funny. I guess I need to maybe teach him the song or just a few letters I have heard the song can mess a kid up. Have to tell you when I worked and had to file the song was very helpful.

Sunday Night Football

Gretchen is turning into a TV junkie at the age of 2 1/2 months. On Sunday night she was totally crying and Chad turned it to Football and she stopped immediately and was in the Zone. She watches sports really well. I am assuming it is because there is a lot more movement then other programs. I thought this picture was super cute of her and her dad watching the game.

My Haircut

As you may remember from an earlier post I wanted to cut my hair. Well Chad was out of town all last week so I decided to go get it cut and put in some highlights. Chad prefers my hair long so that was part of my sneakiness to do it while he was gone. Anyway since I had mentioned I wanted a change I thought I would show you my end result. I am pretty happy with it. The picture is a little scary and you can't fully see all my hair but Easton is cute with his Cheese Smile.

They got one!

This past week Chad went hunting with his friend James. Chad didn't have a tag so he was there to Video and help spot. This was there second trip they went earlier this year for the archery hunt but had no luck. This time James was able to shoot a 7 x 6 from 550 yards. He shot 14 times but was able to get the elk. They had a good time and next year Chad hopes to be able to shoot his own Elk.

Aren't they Cute!

Today I decided to go get Easton and Gretchen's pictures taken. I wanted just a new picture of Easton and one of Gretchen in her blessing dress and then one of both of them in there Halloween costumes. Chad is out of town so Andrea and Kendall were nice enough to come help. Easton was great the lady took 2 or 3 shots and he was all done. So Andrea started putting his Halloween costume on while we attempted to take Gretchen's. She apparently doesn't like to be posed for her pictures so we decided since Easton was all dressed in his Halloween costume that we would put Gretchen's on her and have her crying. Well she ended up going to sleep. So we put her blessing dress back on and then after we got her all dressed she woke up and cried again. So after trying to get her to be happy for an hour I decided I would come back later with Noelle.(she can always get her to smile) Andrea had to go in a few stores and Gretchen was great in the stroller so we decided to try one last time. Luckily she cooperated and we got some cute pictures. So after 3 hours of being at the mall we finally got it all taken care of. That was a long story that may not make a ton of sense but here are the cute pictures:

Thanks again Andrea for spending most of your day with us, We Love You!!!
