First Day of Dance

Gretchen started dance today.  We signed her up and she has been talking about how she is going to be in dance and was really excited.  Sometimes she is all talk so I was a little worried what might happen when we got there.  She was a little hesitant at first but then after she went in she loved it.  When we were walking to the van she said to me, "Mom I love you, that was so much fun."  It was a success and hopefully she learns and continues to enjoy it.  I didn't get to do dance when I was little so I am sort of clueless but I think she is a dang cute little ballerina.    This is the best picture I could get of her.  She will not just smile anymore she just says CHEESE!

First Day of Kindergarten

Today was Easton's First real day of Kindergarten.  It about killed him that he got to go for an hour last week and then he had to wait a whole week before he really started.  He was so excited that he woke up early and could hardly wait until time to go.  When I went to pick him up he was so excited that he got to play on the playground and that he got to have P.E.  I had no idea that P.E. was so cool to a 5 year old.   It is crazy that he is old enough to be in school.  I hope he can keep his excitement for school and learning.

Mission Farwell

Last weekend we were able to go to Idaho to visit with Justin before he went on his mission.  I had to get a picture because we are going to miss Justin he has always been so great with his little cousins and a great nephew.  We are excited for him as he starts his mission and know that he will be a great missionary in Alabama.

Sprinkler Fun!

Kendall got to stay at our house Sunday to Tuesday.  I think for the most part they had a good time.  They ran through the sprinklers Monday and Tuesday.  I snapped a few pictures.

I made them stand together for a picture and here are the results.

I think this is the best one even though Gretchen isn't looking.

The sprinkler would get them I think that is why I took five and still didn't get one with all three looking.

I think over the few days Kendall was at our house, they played with every toy and I never heard anyone  say I am bored.  So I was happy!!  Thanks for hanging out with us Kendall!

Family Movie Night

Easton asks if we can have a Family Movie Night all the time.  So Sunday we had a Family Movie Night.
Lately when my kids watch movies they say they have to have there movie hat on.  This is Gretchen's movie hat.  Weird I know but I had to get a picture of it.  Easton's movie hat is just a baseball hat.
Enjoying Family Movie Night!

8th Wedding Anniversary!

Today is our 8th Wedding Anniversary!

Here are 8 reasons I love Chad.    1. He makes me laugh.    2.  He makes me feel beautiful even when I know I am not.    3.  Watching him play with our kids.   4. He goes to work everyday so that I can stay home with our kids and never complains.   5. He lets me sleep in on the weekends.   6. He lets me sit and watch sports with him even if I talk and say stupid things.   7. His smile it makes me want to smile.   8.  His testimony of the Gospel.                            I know this may sound totally cheesy but really I am a cheesy person.  I love Chad so much and am so glad that I get to spend the rest of eternity with him.
