Skeleton Countdown

Last year our Halloween countdown was a big success so I decided to do it again this year. This year we did a skeleton instead of a pumpkin guy.
Easton took this picture he was way excited that I let him do that.

He also took this one. Isn't Gretchen super cute in her awesome cowgirl clothes. (Thanks Aunt Andrea)

I do not know why the pictures are so blurry. They aren't on my camera so oh well. The countdown to Halloween starts tomorrow. Wahoo! I have decided I really enjoy this holiday. Not so much all the scary stuff but the fun dressing up part and the candy and the carving the pumpkins and stuff.

Yum

My mother-in-law bought me one of these and let me tell you Easton was way excited, you see his Grandma has one and makes him little cakes almost every time we go visit.

When I got home from the Women's conference on Saturday Easton was at the door tattling on his dad for using my red cooker thing. Chad made mini pizza's super fast and easy. Today for lunch Easton wanted a mini pizza and of course i saw the camera and had to take a few pictures.

Our Almost Camping Trip

We were going to go camping this weekend but didn't end up going. I had already made our Tin foil dinners so we had those for dinner and the kids got to sleep on the floor in the family room.

I know this picture doesn't look that great but they were pretty tasty! Well at least Chad and I liked them, Easton doesn't like potatoes so he couldn't get past the fact there were potatoes in them and Gretchen just doesn't eat that well sometimes.
Gretchen actually ended up sleeping in her bed, they got to watch a movie and when the movie was over she asked if she could sleep in her bed so she did. Someday I am sure sleeping in the family room will be totally cool!

#9 Easton's Pajamas

After a couple of days of trouble shooting with my sewing machine I have been able to finally cross off #9 on my list of things to do this year. I have enough material that I think I might make 1 more but that will have to wait until after I attempt the Halloween costumes. Easton was pretty excited to have new pajamas.

What we have been up to

I have been in a little bit of a blogging slump. Life has just been moving along with nothing to out of the ordinary which is nice. I have forgotten my camera at times I have wanted my camera so here are the few pictures that have been taken since my last post.

Chad decided to put Gretchen to work. It was cute she walked around with the towel on her shoulder for half of the day.

Gretchen has officially entered the I'll do it myself stage, which i don't know if that is good or bad.

So I did Gretchen's hair in a side ponytail the other day. I thought it was cute she wouldn't look at the camera so i got this back view. I really do her hair but usually know one sees it done.
Easton got to be the goalie last night at soccer. I have to say soccer is not my favorite sport, and I don't know that it is Easton's either. He did pretty good at goalie. The funny thing is this picture was taken when the ball was at the other end of the field. He was just making sure he was ready I guess.

Random Pictures

Last night while Chad was mowing the lawn I took some (meaning over 75 pictures) of the kids playing. I am really a horrible photographer but i still love to take pictures. Gretchen's bike is broken so she just runs behind his Easton's trike. Easton is to big for the trike and Gretchen is too small. They were having a blast though.
While we were outside we heard a fire engine and Gretchen came running over to me and said candy. She thinks that fire engines are only good for giving out candy in parades apparently.

The Big Game

Yesterday was Easton's first Soccer game. His team won, even though they don't keep score. He Fell down once and got kicked in the head and wasn't so sure he wanted to keep playing but he finished the game and he really likes it.
