Potty training

Monday we started potty training. It went awesome, not a single accident. Then Tuesday happened. She started out really good. Then at about 11 it all went downhill, she never went in the potty the rest of the day. She had 8 accidents. Today we have done better. It makes me wish I would have waited, but we are three days in I am not going back. it is potty training which is never fun. Today while on the potty we did nails and toenails.

*update we are a week in and she is doing awesome!

Valentine's Day

My kids love Valentime's Day as Gretchen calls it.
Here is Gretchen's cute hear hair.
Kinslee's cute heart hair.

Chad and I gave the kids Pop Rocks.  They have never had them.  I love Pop Rocks and was so excited for them to try them.

I also heart attacked there bedroom doors.  They thought it was pretty cool.

Gretchen came home from school so excited because her friend Tyghe gave her this box of chocolates.  Yes a boy gave my 5 year old a box of chocolates for Valentine's day.

We had our traditional candlelight dinner and then we went to the Weber State Basketball game.  It was a fun game and Weber state killed Montana.  I think it was a very fun Valentine's Day!!

I turned thirty-three this year. Chad gave me an iPad mini and my kids gave me a cute red case. The morning of my birthday my kids brought me breakfast in bed. I had a good birthday my sister took me to lunch and then was able to go play dodgeball. Friday morning my friend Marissa took me to breakfast. Then on Tuesday I went to lunch with my Aunt and some cousins. I felt very loved.

Easton's Baptsim

Yesterday was a very special day at our house.  Easton chose to be baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Easton has been counting down the days for weeks.
Easton and Chad before he got baptized.
Easton told his dad after he got baptized that he was cold on the outside but his insides were so warm.
Easton had lots of friends come and support him.  He also had a lot of family who came to celebrate with him.

Our little family.
We took Easton along with his grandparents to dinner to celebrate.  He chose to go to sizzler.  He was in heaven that he got to go to dinner just him with all his grandparents and his parents.  (I didn't get a picture with him and grandpa C.)
It was a very good day and we are so proud of Easton for the choice he made.

Makeup

This morning Gretchen came running into my room and said mom you better get Kinslee.  I found her in the bathroom in my makeup.
She knew the mascara went by your eyes.  She just missed pretty badly.  This kid is into everything lately.

Lunch and big bed

This last Friday the kids had a 2 hour late start because of the ice.  This meant that Gretchen got to eat lunch at school.  She was so excited.  I wish I would have thought to take a picture of her super excited face.

While the kids were at school Chad took down Kinslee's crib.  She now sleeps in a big bed and thinks she is pretty cool.  Kinslee is a super independent kid now a days and everything is My do it or My this.  Yes she totally refers to her self as my.  This morning I came into the kitchen and she was on the counter and getting into the cupboards. She is a cute little monster.
