Nose Update

Gretchen's nose wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Here is a picture this morning. It isn't the best, her hair isn't done yet and it is kind of blurry. You can see the blueish-green bruise and that her cute little nose is still a little swollen.

She doesn't seem to mind. She hasn't really learned her lesson either. She fell off a chair yesterday. She didn't land on her nose though.

Ouch!

Gretchen likes to stand on the chairs even after being told over a million times to sit down. After earlier today I hope she learned her lesson, probably not but here's hoping! She fell off a chair hit her nose on the stool next to her and then landed face first on the ground. Her nose swelled up pretty good after I just hope she didn't break her little nose. I would imagine it would be worse if she did. The pictures aren't the greatest but her nose is swollen and it is a little blue. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

While we were putting her pjs on she hit her nose and said ouchie! It was cute, and sad.

Lately she likes getting her picture taken!

Saving Money!!!

So my sister has been couponing for years and everytime I tried it didn't seem to workout for me.
The past few months I have been trying to save money, so I decided I needed to try couponing. I love cold cereal, and it is expensive stuff so this week when I got 10 boxes of cereal and a thing of oats for EIGHT dollars I was so excited. I just had to share my purchases and to let you all know that I now understand that the couponing thing doesn't work for your everyday stuff right at first it is more for your food storage needs. With all of my grocery shopping this week I saved over 100 dollars.

Easton's 4th Birthday!!!

Easton's birthday was very eventful. He has been asking for a Buzz Lightyear for his birthday since a few days before Christmas. Yeah I don't know why he never asked for it for Christmas but whatever. I looked at two stores and could not find one after Christmas, apparently they only stock them during Christmas. Luckily my sister told me one more store to check and they had a bunch. After he opened his Buzz Lightyear he said it was the best birthday ever. Instead of having a party we decided to take him bowling and dinner just our little family. He agreed to that but still wanted a party so he invited Kendall over to play for a few hours. They watched Toy Story, played with his new toys and ate lunch.


Easton thought bowling was pretty exciting. He did very good he beat me the second game.
We went to the Pizza Factory for dinner. It was pretty tasty. I really enjoyed there bread sticks. They brought him out a dessert for his birthday and it was so good. It makes me want to go there for my birthday!! It was a very fun and exciting day!!!

Here are a few pictures of Easton in his 4 years with us. I love him so much. He knows how to push my buttons but I wouldn't trade him for the world. I am so Happy that he is part of our little family. We Love You Easton!!!! I hope you have a fun birthday!!

Library Card

Today we went to the library and Easton got his very own library card. He thought that was pretty cool. Then it was story time at the library so we got to sit and listen to 4 or 5 stories. Easton couldn't wait to get some books from the library to take home.

Gretchen got to pick a couple of books also. When I was taking Eastons picture she wanted her picture taken.

I wanted to check a book out for myself but I didn't know of any to check out. So I am asking for suggestions on books for me. Please help!
