Tying shoes

This cute girl learned how to tie her shoes.
On Pinterest I found this magic finger trick.
It took a little bit longer then 5 minutes but she is now tying her shoes like a pro.

34 Years Old

Chad turned 34 this year.  Chad's parents came down to see kids play soccer and to help celebrate his birthday.  Chad's tried to help me make chads favorite kind of cake.  It is just a jelly roll ice cream cake.  It didn't turn out to great.  I guess I will have to keep practicing.

These are the only pictures I took of him and his awesome cake.  I hope you had a Happy Birthday!!  We Love You!!

Mustache

Chad has been growing a beard for a couple of months. Yesterday he came home from work and did this.
He kept the mustache for a couple of hours but now he is back to his clean shaven handsome self.

Spring Break 2013

We decided to go on a mini vacation this year for spring break.  We decided to go to Grandpa Cleverly's house.
 On our way!
When we got there Chad had to go measure a job for work and then we headed to grandpa's house.  We went to the St. George temple grounds.
Kinslee, Easton and Gretchen on the steps of the temple.
Gretchen took this picture of the temple.  I thought it was pretty dang good.  We also went to Brigham Young's house.  I didn't take any pictures there for some reason.
On Friday we went to Zions National Park
Gretchen kept asking me to take her picture.
Then Easton and Kinslee always wanted to join her.

The camera isn't always fast enough to capture Kinslee smiling and looking at the camera.
Easton Kinslee and Gretchen sitting on a big rock
In the Virgin river with the start of the Narrows behind them.

 Dad and his girls.
Easton had a fun time on this trip.  He was always doing what grandpa did.  He hiked the whole time with grandpa.

I just thought this pose she was doing was super cute.

 Our cute little family.
Little miss independent wanted to walk and wouldn't hold your hand she had to have her hands in her pockets.
On our last hike to the emerald pools she wanted her dad to carry her. She needed a nap and slept for most of the hike up and all of the hike down.

Isn't this girl so cute.

Apparently I didn't take any other pictures the rest of the weekend.  Saturday we listened to conference, went on a walk, went to lunch, watched conference, and went to the park.  Sunday we got up had breakfast and headed home.  We had a good time and our glad we were able to spend time with Grandpa and Karen.
